Find Your Perfect Lot
Home Selection & Plan Development
Whether you already own a lot, want to build on one of ours, or don’t have a spot picked out yet, we will help you locate that ideal site for your new home. Omni works with real estate agents all around Minnesota.
- Discuss the schedule and the process of building a custom home with you.
- Review the design agreement.
- Lot hold agreement (if applicable)
- Discuss financing and secure pre-approval from a preferred financial institution.


Phase II
From Inspiration to Blueprint
Architectural Planning
Design Consultation
The architectural process is where your ideas will come to life. This is the time to share your dream home ideas and concepts with the architect, so they can design your dream home.
- Discuss inspirational concepts, details, and photos
- Review Lot/Site plan
- List out the rooms you want to include
- Draw out basic ideas
- Discuss budget and timeline
Develop Ideas
Work with the Architect to discuss each level of your home, and what you want to use it for. The more they understand your needs, the better they can design to your layout.

- Determine specific interior & exterior details
- Final Plan Review

Phase III
Review & Sign
Construction Agreement
This is the part of the process that you will be able to understand the project as a whole. Timelines will be discussed, and final pricing will be reviewed. Anything that you would like to modify after this step, can absolutely be done, but it will require a change-order.

Phase IV
Design the Look and Feel of Your Home
Interior Design & Selections
The excitement is just starting. At this point, our designers are familiar with your ideas and aspirations, but they’re about to explore further. They’ll learn more about your style choices, talk about what you love and don’t like, and inquire about any design inspirations you’ve found on Houzz, Pinterest, and similar platforms. Our goal is to keep things as relaxed as can be, while keeping the thrill of creating your ideal home!

- Final Review of all design selections
Phase V
Site Walkthrough
Pre-Construction
At this stage, your Project Manager will review and walk through your survey on-site, discussing what you can expect during the construction process.

Your Dream Home Vision Now Comes To Life
Construction
Building your dream home involves numerous steps, often taking place at the same time. Real-world challenges, including weather conditions, scheduling adjustments, and the availability of labor, can arise. However, rest assured, we are committed to adapting to ensure that your home is constructed accurately and completed on time.
Phase VII
Final Walk-Through
Construction Completed
Before you can move into your new dream home, the Project Manager will cover a few things with you.
